"Slumdog Millionaire" Bags 4 Golden Globe Awards ....!


  1. Director: Danny Boyle, “Slumdog Millionaire.”
  2. Original Score: A.R. Rahman, “Slumdog Millionaire.”
  3. Picture, Drama: “Slumdog Millionaire.”
  4. Screenplay: Simon Beaufoy, “Slumdog Millionaire.”

The Bottom line is that A.R.Rahman Become the First Indian to get this award & wanted to get an Oscar for "Slumdog Millionaire" as he said in the interview after winning .


"Slumdog Millionaire" It is based on the book "Q & A " written by an "Indian author" and diplomat " Vikas Swarup"(an Indian Novelist).
The film, shot and set in India , follows a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on a game show and exceeds people's expectations, raising the suspicions of the game show host and law enforcement.

Slumdog Millionaire swept five awards out of its six nominations at the Critics Choice Awards and all four nominations awarded at the Golden Globe Awards which includes best director, picture, screenplay & score.


This Is Certainly a Memorable day for Indian Cinema & Of course India !
